Alum Rock Park

Welcome to the Alum Rock Park Website of pictures within the World from the Web Home page. Located in the eastarn portion of San Jose, California, take Santa Clara east from the downtown area. This turns into Alum Rock Ave. Make a left onto Capitol Ave (Expressway) and make a right onto Penitencia Creek Road. Follow signs into the park. The park is only minutes from the downtown area and an easy bike ride.

Located in the Diablo Range foothills, this park features steep canyon walls, mineral springs, the Youth Science Institute and cool temperatures during hot summers. The park is 720 acres with elevations ranging upto 2,000'. Resources and facilities are numerous throughout the area. Activities include hiking, biking, and sightseeing.
