Opus 40 is one of the largest and amazing sculptures in the world. From NYC, take I-87 to exit 20 (Saugerties). Pick up Rt 212W toward Woodstock. Go about 1 3/4 miles. You'll pass a store called Smokehouse of the Catskills on your right. Around the next bend, there's a fork in the road. Take the left fork, and keep going on that road till it ends, which is just a couple of miles. It ends at a T. You'll see an Opus 40 sign, with a right arrow. Take that right. Go less than half a mile. Your first right is Fite Road. There's an Opus 40 sign there, too. Take that right. Go to the end of Fite Road, and you'll find Opus 40.
