Central Park

Welcome to the Central Park Website of pictures within the World from the Web Home page. Located in the heart of Manhattan in New York City, New York, this city park is 840 acres. Bordered by 58th Street (Central Park South), 110th St (Central Park North), 5th Ave (Central Park East) and 8th Ave (Central Park West), this premier city park features many hamlets and varied theme areas that break the park up into unique sections.

Jogging, bicycling, rollerblading are popular activities on the paved roads (most of which are closed to vehicular traffic). Tennis courts, softball fields, hiking paths, boating, swimming and ice skating are many of the facilities and activities offered. Cultural activities are numerous, museums and zoos are located within or border the park (museum mile is located along Central Park East in the 80s, Central Park West has museums also).
