Glacier National Park

Welcome to pictures of some of the various smaller lakes within the Glacier National Park site. The first set of pictures is from the more remote Two Medicine Lake, in S.E. Glacier National park. The 2nd set of pictures is from Avalanche Lake, just about 3 miles north of Lake McDonald, accessed from the main (West Glacier) entrance to the park.

Waterfalls at the start of the hike along Avalanche Creek Trail. This is about a 5-6 mile round trip hike to the lake and back over fairly level terrain.
