Ireland

Welcome to the Ireland page of pictures. All the pictures on this page are from the northern portion of Ireland. Most of the pictures are from the northern coastline. Sites visited are Carrick-a-Rede and Giants Causeway, both National Trust sites. From Belfast, take M2 to A26 to A44 into Ballycastle. Pick up B15 and head west towards Ballintoy. Look for signs directing you to Carrick-A-Rede. Giants Causeway is an additional 7 miles west along B15.

Carrick-A-Rede features high cliffs and rough, rocky coastline rivaling the California coastline. There is a high hanging rope bridge. Giants Causeway features numerous stone columns (black basalt) shaped into almost perfect hexagons. The last picture on this page is overlooking Lough Eske, near Donegal in the Republic of Ireland.

Visit numerous other Parks and Cities by World from the Web.
