Emerald Bay State Park

Welcome to the Emerald Bay State Park page of pictures within the Lake Tahoe Website. All pictures displayed here are taken around Emerald Bay. The park is located 22 miles south of Tahoe City. Vikingsholm Castle is part of the park. It is a replica of an 800 A.D. Scandinavian castle. The building is considered one of the finest examples of Scandinavian architecture in the western hemisphere. Emerald Bay offers a panoramic view of the lake from Eagle Falls. Elevation is 6900'.
