Mission Peak Regional Preserve

Welcome to the Mission Peak Regional Park Website of pictures within the World from the Web Home page. Located in Fremont, California, from I-680 in Fremont, exit at Mission Boulevard and go north. After about 1/2 mile, turn right (east) on Stanford Avenue and follow it to the staging area.

This park features the large and steep Mission and Monument Peaks. The park is 2,999 acres with elevations upto 2517'. The park has little resources and facilities but they are numerous throughout the area. Activities include hiking and sightseeing.

All pictures are from Mission Peak Regional Park or Central Park/Lake Elizabeth in Fremont. Pictures were taken using various film and digital cameras. This includes a hike to the top of Mission Peak in the Mission Peak Regional Preserve. This 5.6 mile roundtrip hike is challenging. Trailhead elevation is about 400 feet. The park's high point is about 2,517 feet.
