Return to Olympic Home page. From the road to Hurricane Ridge. This was approached over Memorial Day weekend. Despite the time of year, when attempted in the morning, the rangers at the visitor center advised me not to go because of snow conditions. I went later in the afternoon, but only got within a few miles of the top. I turned around because of heavy rain, fog and approaching darkness. Proceed to the next picture in slideshow.
