Fairmount Park

Welcome to the Fairmount Park Website of pictures within the World from the Web Home page. Located just outside of the Center City section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, this city park is 4180 acres. It is the largest landscaped park in the US. So big in fact, that it traverses from the edge of Center City (Museum of Art) to the northwestern tip of the city past Chestnut Hill. It basically follows the Wissahickon River to where it ends in the Schuykill River.

Jogging, bicycling, rollerblading and crew rowing are popular activities.
