Pier A Park

This is a page that this website never conceived making. This website was originally designed to bring viewers to various and beautiful parks throughout the United States and view them from their computers. This website has since expanded to add cities from throughout the United States and the world. Hence, the name World from the Web. It was never intended to report news and reporting events is only a minor focus of this site. Yet this event was so dramatic and obvious that it can't be ignored. To the people in this country and many throughout the world, this event was a disgusting, murderous attack on the United States. Our thoughts go out to the numerous victims. For instance, the small city of Hoboken where most of these pictures were taken from had over 50 of its residents murdered by these butchers. All were under the age of 45, most being in their 20s and 30s. The only possible answer to this is drastic and decisive action. The pictures from Pier A Park are only 2-3 miles from the World Trade Center.

The WTC after large jet airliners had purposely crashed into each tower. This unspeakable act occurred just before 9AM on Tues, Sept 11, 2001. The picture here was taken after 9AM. Both towers are still standing at this time although the angle and the smoke make it difficult to distinguish 2 towers.

At the Armory, 26th St and Lexington Ave in NYC, posters hung up for missing relatives and loved ones after the Sept 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Almost all of the people hanging on these posters died in the attack.
