All the hikes below are from the Mt. Griffith hike. The trail is picked up near the Mt. Charleston lodge. I had attempted this hike on three different occasions over a two year period. The pictures here are from two attempts in 1998. The first hike was in late June, 1998. Despite being in the middle of the summer outside of Las Vegas, the hike was halted due to accumulated snow on the mountain. The second hike was done on Labor Day, 1998. With the snow melted, we reached the top of the mountain.
