Topanga State Park

Welcome to the Topanga State Park Website of pictures within the World from the Web Home page. Located in Los Angeles, California, this park is sandwiched between the cities of Santa Monica and Malibu. Directions to the main parking lot are found on the link at the bottom of the page. I entered the park after parking on a public road. From Santa Monica, take the Pacific Coast Highway (Rt1) north, turn right onto the famous Sunset Bvld and then after going a short distance make a left onto Paseo Miramar. This road is very steep. Make a right onto Resolano and then a right back onto Paseo Miramar. Go until the road ends which is the beginning of the park.

Topanga is greater then 11,000 acres. It is contained entirely within the city of Los Angeles and is considered the world’s largest wildland within the boundaries of a major city. The park features 36 miles of trails. Activities include hiking, biking, horseback riding and sightseeing. For more information call 310-454-8212 or 818-880-0350
