The park occupies 46,000 acres and is adjacent to Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Elevations in the park range from 2,000' to 2,600'. Indian petroglyphs are found throughout the park. During the summer months the temperature can easily exceed 100F. The park contains limited facilities.
