Zion National Park

Welcome to the Zion National Park Website of pictures within the World from the Web Home page. Located in the southwest portion of Utah, this national park is located off of I-15. Take Rt 9 east, just north of St George, bringing you to the visitor center and the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, which is the main section of the park. Continuing east on Rt 9 will bring you thru the tunnel and to the eastern portion of the park. Continuing north on I-15 will bring you to Kolob Canyons and its Visitor Center at exit 40. The nearest cities are St George (43 miles) and Cedar City (60 miles). Smaller towns such as Hurricane, Virgin, Rockville and Springdale (right outside of the park) are nearby. Springdale (including Cinemax) and the park and area offers full facilities and services.

The park is 229 square miles. It offers tremendous canyon and cliff views and all levels of hikes. Activities include camping, hiking, biking and sightseeing. For more information, write Superintendent, Zion National Park Springdale, Ut. 84767-1099 or call 801-772-3256.
