Zion National Park
Welcome to the Zion Hike page from Zion National Park. There are pictures from 3 hikes here, all accesed from the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. The first is Angels Landing. A 5 mile roundtrip hike, it ascends 1488' with narrow trails and steep dropoffs at times.
These sections have chains added for safety. The views along the hike and especially at the summit are spectacular. This is picked up by crossing the footbridge at the Grotto. The second hike is to the Upper Emerald Pools. It is a relatively
easy hike in both distance and ascent. Extremely steep and high cliffs await at the Upper Pools. It is picked up by crossing the footbridge at the Zion Lodge. The last hike is to the Weeping Rock. Only a 1/2 mile roundtrip and 98' ascent, this is an easy hike
for most people. It is found in the northern part of the park.
